The Sport & Athletic Management Society (SAMS) is open to all currently enrolled BYU-Idaho students. Membership is free, voluntary, and focused on professional development, career preparation, and industry networking for students interested in the business of sport.
By joining SAMS, you’ll gain access to member-only meeting updates, guest speaker opportunities, career resources, and internship/job information shared through our official communication channels.
Who Should Join?
SAMS is especially encouraged for students who are:
- Emphasizing, minoring, or clustering in Sports Management
- Interested in careers in athletics, recreation, events, facilities, marketing, media, or administration
- Looking to build a professional network and strengthen their resume

How to Join
To officially join SAMS, complete the membership form and enroll through I-Belong.
Step 1: Complete the SAMS membership form
Step 2: Join SAMS on I-Belong (required for meeting updates and event communication)
Step 3: Watch for announcements and meeting information shared with members
