Position Summary
The Compliance Coordinator Graduate Assistant position at Wagner College is a Division I opportunity within the Northeast Conference, beginning August 2026. This 20-hour-per-week role supports the compliance office in monitoring NCAA regulations, transfer eligibility, recruiting and practice logs, and roster management. The graduate assistant will report to the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance while gaining comprehensive experience in intercollegiate athletic governance, education, and regulatory oversight. Compensation includes graduate tuition, housing, a meal plan, and a monthly stipend.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Acceptance into a Wagner College master’s program
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Availability for some nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics
• Familiarity with NCAA Compliance Assistant and ARMS
• Experience in compliance, human resources, or business operations

Responsibilities

• Track and evaluate transfer student-athlete eligibility and amateurism
• Monitor recruiting and playing/practice logs
• Assist with roster management and eligibility documentation
• Support academic advising coordination related to eligibility
• Educate coaches and student-athletes on approved compliance topics
• Maintain confidentiality and adherence to NCAA and conference regulations
• Provide compliance-related support for athletic events and departmental operations
