Position Summary
The CSCS Certified Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant position at Central Washington University Athletics is a two-year, part-time assistantship beginning in September 2026. The graduate assistant will support the development, implementation, and supervision of strength and conditioning programs for 15 varsity sports programs. This role provides hands-on coaching experience within an NCAA Division II environment while pursuing a master’s degree in Athletic Administration (beginning Summer 2026). The assistantship includes an annual academic-year stipend and partial tuition waiver.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- CSCS certification prior to start date
- CPR certification prior to start date
- Previous strength and conditioning experience
- Acceptance into CWU’s graduate program in Athletic Administration
- Ability to work within a team-oriented athletic performance environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs
