Position Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Preferred enrollment or acceptance into a two-year Arkansas graduate program or law school
  • Strong interest in intercollegiate athletics
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities (by Area)

Marketing (2 Positions)

  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans
  • Coordinate with coaching staffs
  • Create fan engagement strategies
  • Serve as game producer for assigned sports
  • Train and supervise marketing interns

Event Management/Operations (1 Position)

  • Assist with game-day planning and execution
  • Supervise third-party event staff
  • Support budgeting and facility maintenance initiatives

Compliance (1 Position)

  • Monitor NCAA compliance areas (practice seasons, recruiting, camps)
  • Prepare educational materials
  • Interact with student-athletes and campus stakeholders

Athletic Business Office (2 Positions)

  • Assist with financial reporting and procurement
  • Support accounts payable, receivable, travel, and ticket accounting
  • Contribute to overall business operations within the athletics department
