PLL Photo Internship – Remote

Position Summary
The Production Photography Internship with the Premier Lacrosse League is a paid opportunity ($16–$18/hour) running from May 1 through September 19, 2026, with remote and LA/NY office options available. This role provides hands-on experience in professional sports photography within a fast-paced league environment. Interns will support in-game photography, live editing, metadata tagging, and visual content distribution across league, sponsor, and broadcast platforms. The internship emphasizes technical skill development, visual storytelling, and collaboration with photographers, designers, production teams, and social media staff throughout the PLL and WLL seasons.

The Premier Lacrosse League is a North American professional lacrosse league composed of eight teams featuring top players in the world. Co-founded by Paul and Mike Rabil, the league operates under a national media-rights agreement with NBC Sports Group and is backed by major sports and media investors. The PLL prioritizes innovation, creativity, and high-level content production across digital and broadcast platforms.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom and Photoshop)
• Experience with metadata tagging and digital asset organization
• Ability to operate professional cameras in live sports environments
• Knowledge of studio and event lighting techniques
• Strong collaboration, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to generate engaging visual content ideas
• Experience in sports production; lacrosse knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Capture pre-game, in-game, and fan experience photography during event weekends
• Live edit and caption imagery for immediate digital distribution
• Log, tag, and archive imagery with accurate metadata
• Assist league photographers with event and feature shoot coverage
• Create content for PLL and WLL social platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
• Capture sponsored content for partner distribution
• Distribute imagery to players, sponsors, partners, and affiliated programs throughout the season
